Nostalgia returns to the Reno-Sparks for the 37th Hot August Nights bringing with it a full schedule of Show-n-Shines, cruises, car enthusiast events, live entertainment, drag races and a whole lotta fun.

It all starts in Virginia City, Nevada, with the official kick-off starting 10 days of events.

Moving to Reno-Sparks classic car enthusiasts will find free nightly entertainment, Show-in-Shines, the Motorsport Auction Group (MAG) Auction, drag races, a swap meet and more.

Since 1986 thousands of car enthusiasts from near and far have come to the Reno-Tahoe region to participate in one of the largest annual classic car events in the world with 6,000 officially registered vehicles 1979 or older.

Hot August Nights, a nonprofit organization, began as a way to drive tourism to the area during August. Now, it’s considered an iconic special event for attendees and participants to relive and celebrate the nostalgic times of the 50s, 60s and 70s.
